Robotron: 2084, designed by Eugene Jarvis and Larry DeMar (Vid Kidz) for Williams Electronics in 1982, is the game that defined the twin-stick shooter: one 8-way joystick runs your character, the other fires in any of eight directions, as endless waves of robots close in and you rescue the last human family. This is the original Motorola 6809 program ROM set; it remains the copyright of Williams Electronics and is hosted here on a grey-area preservation basis.
