The MEGA65 open-ROMs project: a clean-room, GPL-licensed reimplementation of the MEGA65 firmware, embedded in the Xemu wasm binary (Xemu injects it into RAM at linear $20000 with -useinitrom). It boots to the open-ROMs utility / diagnostic menu; a full BASIC 65 is still a work in progress there, which is why the default configuration boots the C65 ROM instead.
