Mode 3 Bitmap Demo
demo Open · freely redistributable
A self-authored, public-domain Game Boy Advance homebrew demo. Its ARM7TDMI entry code switches the LCD to bitmap Mode 3, then writes an incrementing 16-bit BGR555 value into every one of the 240×160 framebuffer pixels, producing a smooth colour gradient before halting in a tight loop. It uses no BIOS calls, so it runs cleanly on the open BIOS replacement and is an ideal target for the debugger — set a breakpoint on the pixel loop, single-step the ARM core, and watch VRAM fill.
