Controls
The Sharp X1 boots its IPL to a driver-select menu (there is no ROM BASIC). Press M for the built-in machine-language monitor, which shows a "*" prompt: type a command (D dump, E edit, J jump, G go) and press CR. Click the screen first so it captures the keyboard. Open the debugger to single-step the Z80, read and write its registers and the 64K memory, and set breakpoints and write watchpoints.
