RISC-V (Linux)
2010
An open RISC-V machine from 2010, booting a small Linux system in an emulated processor.
RISC-V (Linux) Online Emulator
Play RISC-V (Linux) using WebAssembly directly in your browser.
Controls
Boots a RISC-V (rv32) Buildroot Linux to a busybox shell (~ #). The Linux boot is slow the first time (the kernel + rootfs are ~7 MB, self-hosted). When the ~ # prompt appears, click the screen and type: try ls, cat /proc/cpuinfo, uname -a. Add ?debug (or click Debug) to inspect the live RISC-V registers (x0-x31, PC, CSRs), read physical RAM, disassemble RV32IMAC, single-step the CPU, and set execution breakpoints or write watchpoints.
