Psion Series 3

Boots the authentic original Psion Series 3 (1991) EPOC16 (SIBO) v1.91F system ROM on a NEC V30 core built from PCjs's x86 executor, all the way to the System screen — the EPOC16 desktop with the System, Data, Word, Agenda, Time, World, Calc and Sheet apps on a 240×80 mono display. Power-on runs the self-test, starts the EPOC16 kernel, window server and file server, formats a clean internal RAM disk and paints the desktop. Move the selection between apps with the arrow keys. Open the debugger to single-step the V30 one true instruction at a time, read and write the full register file, disassemble and inspect the flat 1 MB memory map, and set execution breakpoints and write watchpoints. Type on the on-screen Psion keyboard or your physical keyboard (the app hot-keys System/Data/Word/Agenda/Time/World/Calc/Sheet, plus Menu, Psion and Esc/On are all wired to the ASIC2 keyboard column-scan).
