Controls
Boots a demo that types a table of the powers of two (00001 … 16384) on the console typewriter using the Model 1 addition table, then multiplies 12 × 12 with the multiplication table and types the result (0144), and halts. Open the debugger to single-step the 1620, watch the instruction address register advance 12 digits per fixed-length instruction, disassemble the 2-digit op + P/Q addresses, and set breakpoints and flag/digit watchpoints. The console keyboard (0-9, Record Mark, Release) feeds Read Numerically; the four Program Switches drive Branch Indicator.
