Boots the HP-16C to its display showing 0 in HEX mode, ready for entry - the only calculator HP ever made just for programmers. Type on the on-screen HP-16C keyboard, or use your physical keyboard for the hex digits 0-9 and A-F, . , + − × ÷, ENTER, ← (back / CLx) and ESC (= ON). Press f (gold) or g (blue) then a key to reach the programmer functions printed above and below it - HEX / DEC / OCT / BIN base switching, WSIZE word length, AND / OR / XOR / NOT, shifts and rotates (SL, SR, RL, RR), masks, 1's and 2's complement, and bit set / clear / test. Open the debugger to single-step the HP Nut processor, read and write its A/B/C/M/N field registers and nibble RAM, set breakpoints and RAM write-watchpoints. The HP-16C system ROM (NUT microcode) is copyright Hewlett-Packard; the redistributable dump is self-hosted for emulation.
