PICO-8 is a commercial fantasy console by Lexaloffle Games that mimics the constraints of 1980s 8-bit hardware through a Lua-based virtual machine with built-in code, sprite, map and sound editors. Games are distributed as cartridge PNG images and can be exported as standalone HTML5 web players.
