DEC PDP-10 (KA10)
1966
The central processor of DEC's 1966 PDP-10, a 36-bit mainframe with 18-bit addressing and a signature indirect-plus-index effective-address loop. Its sixteen accumulators double as the first sixteen memory locations, and variable byte pointers let a single word address a byte field of any width.
