Texas Instruments MSP430G2553

2011

The MSP430G2553 is a Texas Instruments 16-bit microcontroller from the ultra-low-power MSP430 Value Line, running at up to 16MHz with 16KB of flash and 512 bytes of RAM. The MSP430 is a clean von-Neumann 16-bit design with a compact orthogonal instruction set, memory-mapped peripherals and several low-power modes. It carries GPIO ports, Timer_A, a USCI serial module and an ADC, and is the chip fitted to the MSP430 LaunchPad. Here it runs real compiled firmware on a from-scratch MSP430 core.
