The Cortex-M7 is ARM's high-performance ARMv7-M microcontroller core. It runs the Thumb-2 instruction set, adds a six-stage superscalar pipeline and an optional single-precision FPv5-SP floating-point unit, and is the core inside STMicroelectronics' STM32F746 system-on-chip. That STM32F746 is the processor at the heart of Panic's Playdate handheld.
