The Cortex-M3 is ARM's ARMv7-M microcontroller core. It runs the Thumb-2 instruction set, has a three-stage pipeline and no floating-point unit, and is the processor inside STMicroelectronics' STM32F103 microcontroller. That STM32F103 is the chip on the ubiquitous hobbyist Blue Pill board.
